S! all, here's the updated rules for RBWar which are effective as of today. You can download a copy of the Red Baron War rules from HERE.

RBWar Tournament Rules as of 27 May 2010

RBWar is NFM - normal flight model, no extra patches are needed, only a regular installation of RB3D
RBWar matches are 2 hours duration unless changed for a particular RBWar Tournament
RBWar teams are limited to 16 pilots per side unless changed for a paricular RBWar Tournament
RBWar information is available at the WW1Aces.com website and at the RBWar forum: http://ww1aces.com/phpBB3/

Target Points:
Village/Town = 2 points
City = 8 points

4) No intentional riding of flamers - penalty of minus 30 points; if your plane flames, please restart a new life immediately by hitting esc/enter

5) No switching aerodromes or planes - penalty of minus 10 points plus any target/kill points scored while at the wrong aerodrome/using wrong plane will be awarded to the enemy team
exception for switching aerodromes or planes:
a) you may switch aerodromes or planes during the first 5 minutes after first entering the game

6) No exiting the game - penalty of minus 10 points
exceptions for exiting game:
a) you may exit the game if it is for the remainder of the game

9) Overmax pilots - penalty for exceeding the maximum number of pilots flying for a team in the game at the same time will be a minus one point (-1) for each minute per extra pilot in the game; any target/kill points for the overmax pilots, earned during the time period of being overmax, will be awarded to the enemy team if those points can be ascertained.

10) Any targets destroyed by friendly actions (friendly fire, crashing into friendly target), the target points value will be awarded to the enemy team

11) Destroying enemy ground targets and killing enemy aircraft scores points; the team with the highest total points at the end of the Red Baron War Tournament wins

12) If a team is short on the number of pilots it can field in a match compared to the opposing team's available pilots, it can request pilots from the opposing team to be temporarily assigned to their team for that match to even the sides of play. The temporary pilots will not have access to the private forum of the team they are temporarily assigned to, but will receive their assignments in a teamspeak meeting just prior to the start of the match. Any pilots who serve as a temporary pilot for the opposing team will receive the ribbons and medals for both teams of that RBWar series. (rule added 28 June 2010)
