S! all, RBWar 5 will start this Sunday, October 10, 2010 at 3pm est

For RBWar 5, we'll use standard RB3D maps and the rules will be a simple combination of RBWar, War Forces and rules suggestions that pilots have made.

The match will run for 4 weekends, with the teams switching sides each week to make the plane models more even for both sides. After 4 weeks, we can extend RBWar 5 or start another war format (whatever everyone would want).

Map - Flanders

Planes:

Allied bomber - N11
Allied fighter - Sopwith Pup

German bomber - Hald D2
German fighter - Alb D2

From reading this I assume the full RB Flanders map will be used, not an RBWar modified map. Is this correct?

I cannot find the duration of the match anywhere?
Am I right in assuming that it is 2 hours?

S! all, here's the updated schedule. Only a few had posted on the score thread if they wanted to re-fly this first match or not, but the majority voted to count this first match as a practice/test and to start RBWar 5 week 1 this coming weekend.

So here's the schedule:

Note the route May, Brown and Richthofen took. And people say I fly funny routes.

RBWar 5 was cut short?

S! all, RBWar 5 was only set up to run for four weeks but could be extended if everyone wanted RBWar 5 to run longer. Since no one had expressed a desire to extend it beyond the four weeks (until now), I completed the awards and posted them.

If a majority of pilots want to extend RBWar 5 beyond the four weeks, we can extend it. If a majority of pilots would like to start another format, we can do that too.

I enjoyed rb5, If u extend it I will fly. W.M.
