Clocks?

What the hell is a clock!?

Are you guys talking about time? If so, where I live we use Sundials, and hell will have to freeze before I try to move it back... its made of stone and weighs 8 tonnes! Besides, I like it just where its at now!!

S! All!

I saw on History Channel today (11-6-2010) that in the early or mid-60s, the US standardized the Daylight Savings Time to today's method. Prior to that time, cities, villages, towns, etc., could each have their own or different Daylight Savings Time. This arrangement created confusion when travelling from one place to another.

So, as I mentioned above, it was on television, so it MUST be true :D

There must be a line where the time zones change. Would really be confusing for people who live on This side --------> l <----- but work on this side....... 2 watches is the answer??? lol

S! All!

Interestingly enough, Mr. P, that issue was addressed in the History Channel program I mentioned. For example, in some part of West Virginia, I believe, one could travel from Point A to Point B, a distance of 35 miles and pass through seven time zones.

Difficult enough for me to figure out how to change the time on my wristwatch. I tried to set my watch back an hour last night before bedtime, and now I have two alarms set to go off at two different times in the early morning, and chimes that ring every hour on the hour :?
