Hi all!

Many people is asking me for to make another Speed Cup Race...

Would be a fun thing now that we are on summer and no tournements are runing...

I would prepare a race map and to post it for to train, and to make the race maybe for september?...

The only problem is to have a server for the race day...the practice can be in any island server having the alpine patch loaded

Also there are some ideas about to make a championship with more races in diferent weeks...and looking for the winer with more points in all races...

Whay do yoy think?

If you have some idea or coment...this is the place...

also for to make a pseudo signup and to see how many people is intersted on it... ;O)

S! AirSurfer,

I can set up an Alpine Island server for Speed Cup practice. It may even be good enough for the actual race, depending on how many pilots you are expecting. I used it as a backup server in the FC3 tournament once with 18 pilots in and it worked well at that time, but that was on a bigger map.
If my server bandwidth appears to be too slow for the actual race, I can ask Rens if we could use his server like we did in FC.
But the administration of the event would have to be done by JGS4.

Let me know what you think, and what other server settings you want in addition to the alpine patch.

Best regards
